The 480uF Start Capacitor fits the Elite 1 HP Heavy Duty 56 Frame Boat Lift Motor & Elite 1 1/2 HP Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor. 480 /- 20% uF capacitor that mounts into the housing of the boat lift motor. The capacitor is located in the housing on the side of the motor. Briefly increases motor start torque. In boat lifts when the motor is a little sluggish at the start or just hums, it is a typical indicator that the start capacitor should be replaced. Easy as replacing a battery.
